Tours: Create your own historic west vacation at the 7th Ranch. All historic tours are custom designed exclusive bookings. We provide all the transportation, whether it's four wheels or four hooves ~ you'll be outfitted with a trained cow-horse and western tack to ride the hills.

• BATTLE OF THE LITTLE BIGHORN ~ Retrace the events of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. 7TH RANCH tours start where other tours end! Research maps, books and videos at the 7TH RANCH. Discuss riding routes with your historian guide and plot a course for adventure. One question answered may lead to 10 more questions to ask! Tour the battlefield areas by walking or by vehicle, or for the ultimate thrill-ride the hills to see for yourself what happened! We'll take care of the details.
• DEER MEDICINE ROCKS ~ In the Valley of the Rosebud, where Sitting Bull had his vision of soldiers falling into camp.
• ROSEBUD BATTLEFIELD ~ Where Crazy Horse fought Crook to a standstill just days before Custer's demise.
• POMPEY'S PILLAR on the Lewis & Clark Trail ~ Climb the rock, see the signatures and wander the river...
• BOZEMAN TRAIL CORRIDOR ~ Visit Fort Phil Kearney, the Fetterman Massacre and Wagonbox sites-then follow along the route to Fort C. Smith and the Yellowstone valley.
• BIGHORN RIVER ~ Relax for a day on the world-renowned Bighorn River. Fish, bird-watch, play and rejuvenate.
• ST. LABRE MUSEUM & MISSION ~ Catholic missionaries established this ongoing chain of missions shortly after the Battle of the Little Bighorn and they remain the largest Indian mission school system in the world today.
• MEDICINE WHEEL ~ A view from atop the world - on the Big Horn Mountains Scenic Byway between Sheridan & Cody - a place so sacred you'll always remember!
• SHERIDAN, WYOMING ~ One of the last real "cowboy' towns. Stroll into King's Saddle Shop and museum, hunt antiques, check out Buffalo Bill's historic Sheridan Inn and tour a cattle baron's mansion.
• THE APSAALOOKE CROW INDIAN NATION/PLENTY COUPS STATE PARK ~ A memorial to Chief Plenty Coups, the last great Crow chief and world-renowned statesman. Visit with local storytellers and hear their legends.
• BILLINGS, MONTANA ~ The Pictograph Caves, Western Heritage Center, Yellowstone Art Center, Historic District and Boot Hill Cemetery combine with great dining in the West in our hometown ~ a gem on the prairie!
• BUFFALO BILL HISTORICAL CENTER ~ Widely regarded as America's finest western museum, including the western art of Charles M. Russell and Frederic Remington, as well as the boyhood home of Buffalo Bill Cody. Tour the Whitney Gallery of Western Art Plains, the Indian museum and the Cody Firearms Museum.

• Pull-On Western Boots and Good Walking Shoes
• Comfortable Jeans-Baggy pants cause "saddle sores" on you!
• Camera, Film and Personal Items
• Period attire-if you're inclined
• Single-action shooting gear-if you're ready to let the lead fly!

We can help you get your gear locally if you need to. However, boots need to be broken in a little first.

RATES PER PERSON, PER DAY:

Tours are custom designed. There are no extra expenses.
Our rates are tailored to meet your personalized vacation needs.
Families or a maximum group of six are preferred. All bookings are exclusive-no other guests are invited during your stay except on your request.
Rates include lunch, transportation, entry fees, trespass fees, and Montana State accommodation taxes-everything but your pictures & trinkets! Call for special rates if you bring your own horses.
